Lapidary Equipment Shipping: Flat-Rate Delivery Across Australia
Lapidary equipment shipping from Lapidary Hub is simple and predictable: every order ships within Australia at a flat rate, regardless of weight or destination. All orders are dispatched from our Australian warehouse, fulfilled directly by Australian Lapidary Supplies (Amaport Pty Limited) — not a third-party dropshipper, which means we control dispatch times ourselves rather than waiting on someone else’s warehouse.
Delivery options and costs – Lapidary Equipment Shipping
We use flat-rate lapidary equipment shipping, so the cost is the same no matter where in Australia you are or how much your order weighs — there are no surprise freight surcharges for heavier machines like trim saws or grinding units.
| Delivery option | Cost (AUD) | Typical delivery time |
|---|---|---|
| Regular delivery | $30.00 flat rate | 3–7 business days |
| Express delivery | $50.00 flat rate | 1–3 business days |
Delivery times are estimates measured from the date of dispatch, not the date of order, and may vary slightly for regional and remote postcodes. For general delivery-speed benchmarks across the national carrier network, see Australia Post’s delivery speeds and coverage guide, which our own estimates above are broadly aligned with.
Order processing time – Lapidary Equipment Shipping
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment being confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, along with tracking information where available.
Where we ship
We currently ship to addresses within Australia only, including most regional and remote areas. We do not offer international lapidary equipment shipping at this time. If this changes, this page will be updated to reflect new destinations and rates.
Tracking your order
Once your order is dispatched, we’ll email you tracking details so you can follow its progress to delivery. If you haven’t received tracking information within our stated processing window, contact us at sales@lapidaryhub.com with your order number.
Heavy and oversized items
Some lapidary machinery — trim saws, slab saws, and larger grinding units — is heavier and bulkier than typical parcels. Our flat shipping rates above already account for this; you won’t be charged extra freight for larger equipment purchased through Lapidary Hub. This is one of the most common questions we get, since most general freight calculators charge significantly more once an item crosses a certain weight threshold, and lapidary machines often sit right at that line.
Delayed or lost deliveries
If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected delivery window, please get in touch via our Contact Us page or email sales@lapidaryhub.com with your order number, and we’ll investigate with the carrier on your behalf. We treat a missing parcel as our responsibility to chase down, not yours.
Why we use flat-rate lapidary equipment shipping
Most lapidary suppliers calculate shipping by weight, which penalises exactly the customers buying the heaviest, most useful equipment — trim saws, cabbing machines, and large tumbler barrels. We deliberately chose flat-rate shipping instead, so a $30 grinding wheel and a $30 trim saw cost the same to ship. It’s a simpler promise, and one we think is fairer to hobbyists investing in their first serious piece of equipment.
How we pack lapidary equipment for shipping
Diamond blades, grinding wheels, and glass-adjacent components can be damaged by careless packing, so we pack every order with that specific risk in mind rather than using generic filler. Blades and wheels are boxed flat and individually wrapped to prevent edge damage in transit; tumbler barrels and motorised units are padded to stop internal components shifting. If anything arrives damaged despite this, our Returns & Refunds Policy covers you — transit damage is treated as a fault, not a change-of-mind return.
